My first trip to Ethiopia where I was part of a team that visited washing stations and we brought a mobile roasting set up allowing producers to taste their coffees, often for the very first time.

One of the most arduous physical tasks I have ever done. Dug a hole six feet deep and six feet wide (below the slab) to access the main sewage line when I built out the first Transcend Roastery in 2006
